This book is exactly as it states – a dictionary of math. It covers topics from numbers (fractions, decimals, percentages and more), shapes (geometry, angles, measurement, time and more), algebra (basics, equations, graphs, functions and more) and data (averages, probability and more). Each topic is covered over a page or two, with a short and clear explanation of the topic along with easy to understand examples.
The book also includes internet links where readers can find more detailed information on each topic, an A-Z definition guide of money terms and a list of commonly used math symbols.
I consider this an excellent reference for math studies for middle school aged children or older.
