When this arrived in the mail last week, my son instantly became glued! As the title indicates, 100 science expirements are included covering topics like:

*Growing crystals
*Water and air pressure
*Creating static electricity
*Electromagnets
*Homemade paper
*Wind and water power

The book also covers information on creating your own experiments, teaching you how to choose topics, planning experiments, recording findings and evaluating results. A perfect primer for science fair projects!

I bought the soft cover version of this book but the covers is slightly stiffer than I expected. The pages are crisp and sturdy and are made from a sustainable source, an added bonus for environment friendly families!

The book description states the experiments are for ages 9 and up but I see no problem using these with younger children. All experiments use readily available household items and with the number of experiments, this book would provide enough lessons for an entire school year. For under $15!
